Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk II Location Vancouver, WA : The Neil Jones Food Company is an industry leader, processing superior quality fresh-packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation's discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk II to support the activities of accounts payable. This role will be at our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processes accounts payable, verifies vendor information is correct and complete.
• Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions; posts accounting information to appropriate accounts.
• Prepares statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports.
• Reviews vendor statements and verifies information matches company records.
• Works with vendors to resolve account issues and discrepancies.

Requirements :

• Associate degree in accounting, business management, or related field; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience and that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
• At least 3 years of accounts payable experience and ability to accurately perform moderately complex math problems.
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Able to frequently to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, and a credit screen.

Compensation:

The hourly wage range is $25 - $30, based on experience and qualifications.
